Hey! I’m Tarl. Weird name, yeah I know. Like Carl, but with a “T”. Comes from an old sci-fi/fantasy book series by John Norman. A real Conan the Barbarian type and a really bad 80’s movie. Now that we are through with the usual questions, let’s dig a bit deeper shall we?

I guess you could say I have fiction in my blood. Named after a fictional character and reading from an early age. I honestly don’t remember a time when books weren’t a huge part of my life. As a kid, my imagination fueled my own delusions. Some kids have imaginary friends, I had imaginary worlds.

Now I’m an adult (or so they say) and I want to share these imaginary worlds with all of you. I have been writing for a number of years now, but in fits and starts. Now it’s time to get serious. Time for a peak into the weird world of my brain.

I am a North Carolina native who enjoys life with my wife, dog, and cat.
